Plagiarism

What is plagiarism?

Plagiarism is when you include other people's work as your own.

Remember if you want to use someone else's work you must summarise, paraphrase or direct quote and cite the sources.

We need to cite the work to:

  • avoid plagiarism
  • give credit to the person whose work it is
  • allow other people to find the work
  • show respect to the person whose work it is

Have a look at what Tim and Moby have to say about plagiarism and try the quiz afterwards.
