Biography is a genre where the text is written about a person by another person. An autobiography, as the term suggests, is written by a person about her or himself. In the Library, these books may be located in a subject section, where the person is famous for one thing, or perhaps an invention or the job that s/he did. Other examples of this genre are memoirs and diaries.
