Collections of poetry may be by one poet. Where there are collections of poetry by different poets - usually chosen or edited by another poet - these collections of poetry are called anthologies. Sometimes the anthologies are on a theme, or they might be 'classic' or general collections. Poetry collections may be found in the non-fiction shelving sequence in the library, so they have a number on the spine. In some countries, this is referred to as the 'call number'. Here are a few examples of poetry collections.
As well as these suggestions and recommendations, you can also look at the library catalogue here, where you can undertake a subject search, using the terms 'poetry' or 'poetry anthologies'.
