PLANNING YOUR RESEARCH
Students will be able to:
- brainstorm and decide on a topic for inquiry
- develop key questions for research
"Asking questions is a very good way to find out about something."
- Kermit the Frog
Questions are powerful research tools because they encourage a search for answers, even if the answers are hard to find, or may be controversial.
Questions help you decide if the information you find will be useful.
Open-ended questions, e.g., "how" and "why" questions, encourage deeper research and thinking.
