Good reads for Grade 8 students: Poetry

Recommendations from the UWCSEA Library about reading in different genres. The recommended titles are stocked by the Library. If an item is on loan when you're looking for it, the book can be reserved for you.

Poetry and poetry anthologies

Anthologies are collections of poetry, generally including poems by various authors. Sometimes the anthologies are on a theme, or they might be 'classic' or general collections. Poetry anthologies are shelved as part of the non-fiction shelving sequence in the library, so they have a number on the spine (821.008). In some countries, this is referred to as the 'call number'.
