In this unit, learners explore the world of food production. They develop an understanding of the processes that raw materials go through in order to reach the shop shelves. This unit lends itself to exploring research skills with Grade 2. As the learner’s knowledge builds, they will begin to make links between food production, the environment and being a conscious consumer.
