General tips about citations

The most important thing to remember about citations is to make it clear to your reader where you got ALL information and images. If an image is an original it's best to write that the source is you, the author, to avoid any confusion. All images need to have a caption which includes the citation (the source). The second most important thing to remember is to stick to one citation style within a document. The boxes on this page lead you to classroom posters (best printed on A3) for your chosen citation style and there are links on the left side of these pages to explain how to cite different types of resources. Please let me know if you have any questions: SJT at UWCSEA.edu.sg. Thanks! Sue Toms
