The Mango Tree is the winner of the Hedwig Anuar Children’s Book Award 2015 and the Grand Prize Winner for the Samsung KidsTime Author’s Award 2015. The book was shortlisted for the Singapore Literature Prize 2014 (English non-fiction). The Mango Tree is available from the library Hidayah's visit will be a wonderful opportunity for students to learn about how Hidayah's family had to leave their family home in 1999 when it was acquired by the Singapore Government under the Land Acquisition Act. |
