About us

Ask a question about the library. If we can't answer it now, we will answer as soon as possible.

The UWCSEA library service supports the five elements of the learning programme at UWCSEA through

  • Access to information and ideas in and through a range of media
  • Studious and collaborative learning environments
  • Use of library resources for personal development and recreation
  • Services to the College community of students, teachers, staff and parents
  • Supporting the concept of lifelong learning, and that of voluntary, individual reading for pleasure as a lifelong skill.

The library is open from 7.30 to 4.30 during term time.

Students can return and borrow books at the beginning or end of the day, during break and lunch or at any time that their teacher allows them to visit the library. There is an out-of-hours bookdrop at the carpark entrance to the infant school and at the library.

The library is open for Junior students to use at break and lunch time on a rostered basis.

Students who are supervised by adults are welcome in the library after school.

After school students with a late Activity or Music lesson may wait in the library by arrangement with the Activities or Junior School office
