Colin Goh is a Singaporean film maker, satirist and cartoonist who was formerly an attorney. Goh first rose to prominence with his comic strip, The Concrete Jungle, which appeared in the Singapore newspaper, The New Paper. Colin also set up a website which pokes fun at the various aspects of what it means to be a Singaporean. Together with his wife, Colin made two award winning feature films. The couple also produce Dim Sum Warriors, a graphic novel and bilingual iPad app series about kung fu-fighting dumplings
Colin will be visiting UWCSEA as part of The Singapore Writers Festival’s outreach programme, Words Go Round, on Tuesday 26 February to talk to students about creating memorable characters and writing and illustrating. His session will be in the Exam Hall from 2-2:45 pm. Parents are welcome to attend. |
