Dover Primary Reading: Red Dot Book Awards

Use this LibGuide for suggestions and recommendations of books to read over the holidays.

Red Dot Book Awards

The Red Dot Book Awards happen every year in Singapore. They are a reading event organised by librarians of the International School Libraries Network.

Books are chosen from recent children's literature. They must be published in English within the last 4 years. A range of books from around the world are selected. There are four categories and the books in the first three are in the primary school library.

Early Years are picture books so are great for everyone to read.

Younger Readers are books chosen for readers aged 7 to 10 years old.

Older Readers are books chosen for readers aged around 10 to 14 years old.
